off to Texas...

      Yesterday I woke up early, finished my packing and headed off to the Portland airport with my mum and sister. Our destination...Edinburg, Texas to visit my sister and niece. Packing for a trip...it's hell. I managed to pack only 2 dresses, a few shirts and a couple pairs of shorts with the idea in mind that I will be making many purchases while there:) My marc jacobs tote was perfect to hold my "essentials" for the plane including, Vogue featuring Lady Gaga, the novel The Handmaid's Tale, my iphone, laptop and ray-bans. It's also very important to be comfortable so I opted to wear something that would easily transition through the weather changes. Black jeggings, t-shirt, a light sweater(I'm obsessed and wore it today as well!) and a large vintage scarf that doubled as a blanket. I absolutely love it here and can't wait to show you more photos!

Black Mountain and Bunny Boots

      Sunday morning my father, sister and I all woke up early to head to the mountain. I love to ski during the winter and the conditions were beautiful. These are some photos of my day (once again taken from my iphone:( ). My outfit is composed of a roxy ski jacket, an intense helmet which I have covered in stickers over the years and my periwinkle ski pants. I've always been interested in ski/snowboard culture...next post idea?

north conway candy

   I planned on updating my blog with new photos from this weekend in North Conway except I FORGOT MY CAMERA. How does this happen? I have no idea...ughhh well I took a few photos on my iphone so the quality is a bit awful. We arrived in North COnway, New Hampshire this afternoon and settled in a room by Attitash Mountain. My sister, my dad and I then all went into to town so that we could search through our favorite candy and goods shop "Zeb's". More tomorrow!
